Pipe Relining Lalor Park

One reason some people do not trust pipe relining in Western Sydney is because they do not know how it works or how it’s done. Below is a simple step-by-step of sewer pipe relining:

1. CCTV pipe inspection conducted – We often use video cameras to see damaged pipes that are located underground. Instead of digging the entire pipe, we just look into what the video captures, and identify the problem. 
2. Pipe preparation and cleaning – After a short discussion on how to address the issue, the inner walls of the pipe in question would then be scrubbed clean using a pressurised water jetter. This is needed so that there will be a solid bond between the resin and the inner walls of the pipe. 
3. Relining using a liner dipped in resin – The liner will be dipped in resin, and would be inserted into the pipe, through the access points. High pressure air would then be blown into the liner in order for it to expand, allowing the resin to stick to the inner walls. 
4. Final inspection – After a few hours of curing, there will be a final check, and the relining job is done.
